It's Pink Saturday, come on up and see me sometime☺

Here we go, PINK SATURDAY at Beverly's HOW SWEET THE SOUND once again. My goodness, where in the world does the time go? Anyway, let's get busy. Today I'm sharing a few things that are in my bedroom. Above you see the lamp that sits on my night stand. I just fell in love with the pink rose when I saw this in eBay. I couldn't believe my eyes when about a year later I found a candy plate with the same design, too cool!

 

Here are a bundle of pillows that rest on my bed. A mixture of crewel embroidery, lace, candle-wicking, chenille and patchwork. You name it and it's probably there - except it just occurred to me, I don't have any needlepoint. Guess that's next on my list!

Isn't this cute? Grabbed it at a tag sale several years ago for, I think, a dollar. It fit in perfectly with my room and the serenity I try to surround myself with just before I close my eyes for the night.

I know lots of you are married to the sweetie pie of your life, but I'm not, so close your eyes and don't look! I bought this door pillow oodles of years ago just when my husband turned forty, bought a Corvette and took off to Florida with his (younger) girlfriend leaving me to raise my sons and pay the mortgage. But, and I say this with all honesty, it's the best and nicest thing he ever did for me☺
