“Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand - and melting like a snowflake.”

It's cold. It's raining. Visions of Christmas dance in my head! It's Pink Saturday!

It was cold and raining outside all day today. The weather was so bad that I'd keep watch out my window and whenever it let up a bit, I'd rush the dogs outside to do a little wee and then get them right back into the house. I think the weather today made me think of fall and with fall comes the holidays. With the holidays comes crafts and making gifts and decorations. So today, you are going to see memories of Christmas' past!
The wreath above was inspired by a photo I saw in a magazine ages ago and clipped out, shoving it into the drawer where all of my inspirations sit until they either die and go away or the come to life when I have the time to devote to creation. Everything you see on the wreath was collected after the holidays and tucked away until the following year when I felt like crafting for Christmas. I just love getting things at huge discounts and those decorations were marked down to the max.

This little gem is one of my 50 cent yard sale goodies that I spray painted and then added some silk roses, painting over them, too. I sold this on eBay a couple of years ago but have since made a couple for my home that are in my windows at Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter. Pink goes with everything, yes, it does!

Lastly, are two little outfits I made for my grand-daughter's doll. Now, she doesn't have these yet because there is more layette that needs to be made. This little doll and oodles of clothes are going to be her gift from her Mimi this year. The little doll is only 5" long. Just a teeny, tiny, cutie patootie. A lot like Rachel Elizabeth!
Well, there you have my PINK SATURDAY offering this week. Not quite what I had originally planned but the weather gave me the warm fuzzies all cuddled up in the house and my thoughts drifted to sparkling trees, glistening snow and warm cookies with cocoa! Be sure to travel over to Beverly's place to get the blog addys of all the creative and wonderful women who participate each week in this pinkest of events!

PS: Last week Beverly asked about why so many participants didn't get comments. I hate to be a party-pooper but one beef I have that is sending me to the boiling point is taking my time to type in code and then have a screen pop up telling me that my comment is going to need approval. Please, do one or the other. Taking my time to enter code only to find out that you need to look at it too is REDUNDANT.
