Happy Birthday, Michael, celebrate your day!

Today my grandson, Michael Joseph, will be blowing out seven candles on his birthday cake.

Mike is outgoing and friendly. Inquisitive, sweet and affectionate...all that a little person should be. He's a good brother to Daniel and Samuel and Rachel but not so good that you forget he's a healthy, little boy.

Happy Birthday, sweet Michael, your Mimi wishes she could be with you tonight when you blow out the candles on your cake. Tell Mommy that you should have two pieces of cake to eat...one for you and one for Mimi with an extra scoop of ice cream.

Never did I believe that with two sons I would be blessed seven times over with little babies blown directly from the hand of God. And blessings they are, each and every one of them. They are the little fuzzies that keep my heart warm when the world feels a bit more chilly as I travel through my life.

What a CUTE grandson you have there, Mimi!

Wishing Michael the very BEST of birthdays!!! Eat lots of cake, drink plenty of soda and hopefully dine on a huge pepperoni pizza, too!

Enjoy your special day!!!

Hi Mimi, glad to see that you found my blog! Always a great pleasure for me to welcome new friends into my world.

I am in LOVE with your blog, it is so pastel-colorful, all my favorite shades, and you write the nicest things. I just love what you said about your grandchildren being the fuzzies that keep your heart warm when it gets chilly in life around you! THAT is so fantastic. What a way with words you have!

I hope that your grandson has a really happy birthday, and does get to eat that second piece of cake with his Mimi in mind!! I don't have grandchildren yet, but I have 7 grand nieces and nephews and I always tell them to eat a piece of yummy birthday cake for me too! :-)

I too love animals and used to do volunteer work at an animal shelter. It broke my heart to see the animals, but I just had to give my time there!

I will drop by again. Your blog could just end up being one of my favorite places to visit!

fond regards from Germany, Debby

What a sweet face. I hope Michael had a great day. (I'm catching up on my blog reading today.)

My one cat was named Mikey when we adopted him. Mikey had been dumped with his litter mates and all were bottle fed. Mikey was the only one that made it and was fostered by a kind soul who had to keep him in a room away from her dogs. Unfortunately, he was never socialized and has been a handful since day one. He's made wonderful progress and is our favorite cat (although I know we shouldn't pick favorites). However, he needed a middle name for those days when we needed to speak to him in a stern voice. So, we decided his full name would be Michael Joseph as in, "Michael Joseph, what are you doing?" I hope your grandson doesn't mind sharing his name with our Mikey. :)
